Greetings, this is Paul, your Pacific Northwest Trail Guide.

I grew up mostly in rural towns of Washington and Oregon, exploring forests near my home, and the farther reaches of the Pacific Northwest on the weekends.

As the years have gone on, my love for the PNW wilderness areas has only grown. There are so many places to explore, I will never see them all. Sometimes it can be daunting to decide where to explore next. I hope my guides make the process easier for you, and serve as a visual record of these wild places.

I'm not on any quest to visit the highest peaks, or do the longest through hike. Every trail has something to offer if you have the attention to see it, and there are trails out there for everyone, regardless of your appetite for exertion and adventure. From short jaunts, to day hikes, to multi-day camping hikes.
